I’ve decided to get the Ambassadeur C3, and I’m not sure what brand or test of line would do best. I’ll be fishing for Carp & Channel Cats mostly, but I will occasionally use it Bass fishing with large Jigs & Spinnerbaits. I’ve also decided I want a 7′ medium/heavy action rod to use with the reel. I want a line that is visible, because when fishing for Carp & Channel Cats (and Bass with Jigs or Soft Plastics), a lot of the strikes is when your line gets slack, and goes to the side or straight out. I really like clear/blue fluorescent line. I’d prefer that it not be a Braid.

to use live bream as bass bait? where should i hook it, what size bobber should i use and how much depth should the bait be, also when the bass hit will the bobber go completely under or will it just move alot? im fishing in a 25 ft canal off a huge lake with plenty of lillypads and weeds along the shore.. the lake has been stocked before but i don’t know if that makes a difference or not.. please be specific of where to hook the bait cause i hear different things i want the bait to be struggling ,not dead and not too active. during the early morning(sunrise) should i fish near the lilly pads or along the shore or in the open water, cause i see alot of bass jumping in the open water and i would think near the shore would be best where the nest are but im no pro so please help. thanks alot i really appreciate your time

I have always heard it was to have cloud coverage, no wind, and low humidity. Is this all true.
-What does the water temp. have to be in order for the bass to be active?
-When the weather is about 50 degrees outside, Where will the bass be located?
-What should I fish with when the bass are less active?
-Is it better to fish with cloud cover or sunny?

I know the basics of what you use in bass fishing, spoons spinnerbaits, and crankbaits but i go fishing in a little bit of a murkey lake and was wondering if someone could go into detail of what i should use.
Thanks.
